There is a time when it feels like the right time to sit down and start from the beginning. Sometimes the "right time" never comes, and you start where you are today. We each author our own story, the story of our lives, within the context of our cultures and relationships, and the story and the culture and the relationships shape who we are and who we become. As a professional counselor, Sarah believes therapy holds the hope that change is possible, the past does not determine the future, and tomorrow can be different than today. So let's start from the beginning, or start from today, it doesn't matter. Let us begin the journey. Sarah specializes in working with Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, emotional sensitivity, deep thinkers, and big feelers. Sarah is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a best practice effective in working with adverse life experiences. Sarah also works with Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Internal Family Systems theory.
