“I don’t want to talk about it!” “You wouldn't understand!”...sound familiar? Sometimes your children don’t understand what may be happening either, and communicating that can feel impossible. As a Registered Play Therapist, I help children (as young as 2), teens, and adults understand and gain confidence around who they are, how they feel, and what they think. I pull from a variety of approaches and expressive modalities to meet the needs of each of my clients and their families. Everyone is different, and I believe in an eclectic approach. I’ve dedicated my professional career to working with trauma-impacted youth, and their resilience never ceases to amaze me. I am a hearing therapist fluent in ASL and also specialize in working with deaf youth!
