About
Saundre has over 15 years of professional counseling experience working in shelters, schools, and mental health clinics. She received a master’s degree in social work from Howard University with a focus on Black mental health and community healing. Growing up in East Oakland, in a single-parent household quickly taught Saundre about the importance of her own mental health care. Personally experiencing the effects of misogyny, classism and racism pushed her to create safe and humanizing spaces for Black Women to begin their healing journey. During the pandemic she courageously opened her private practice Queens N' Therapy, which is specifically tailored to meet the mental health needs of Black Women.
