Building your happiness can be a challenging task as we are often faced with various societal stressors. As an African American woman, I am deeply aware of the societal stressors that hinder wellness. Without the proper support, obstacles in life can prevent you from being healthy and happy. My desire is to support Black Women from varied and diverse backgrounds with creating and or sustaining the life that they want for themselves. A little about me… I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of professional counseling experience. I am also a Clinical Supervisor. I received my master’s in social work from Howard University with a focus on African American mental health. I have worked in various settings including schools, mental health clinics, and homeless shelters.
