My approach is to empower you to cope better to life’s challenges in a way that is innovative and that has lasting results. My specialty is in treating chronic health problems. In France, I was professor of clinical and health psychology. I directed several research projects on anxiety, mood disorders, addiction and neurological conditions. I have published the findings of my research in nearly 50 articles in scientific journals and authored 5 books. In 2018, I completed a fellowship at the City of Hope Medical Center. I integrate the use of technology in patient care by utilizing virtual reality (VR) to enhance CBT therapy. VR has the ability to transport the patient into virtual scenarios in order to address issues without exposing them to undue harm en vivo (in your real life). This technique has proven helpful to relieve and/or resolve various phobias and disorders.
