Scarlett Olivares obtained her undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Catholic University of Santo Domingo in 2004. Scarlett obtained her graduate degree (with honors) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University. Scarlett is a bilingual/bicultural counselor that is experienced in working with families and individuals. She has honed her skills over 13 years working in the community. Her passion and dedication led her to develop her skills in another critical mental health area, that of addiction and substance abuse. View 13 Photos Scarlett incorporates elements from mindfulness-based stress reduction, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution focused techniques. She has specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR); an evidence-based practice that has been proven as one the most effective treatments for trauma.
