About

You’re feeling fragile? We all get that way. We often don’t credit the hard work we’re doing, while focusing on perceived flaws. How relieved would you feel to let that all go, or be kinder to yourself? I’m not going to lie; it can be uncomfortable to share the most vulnerable parts of yourself with a stranger. But we won’t be strangers long. You’ll talk and I’ll listen. I’m curious and non-judgmental. You’ll find that I’m a nurturing and calming presence, and despite my professionalism I’m not afraid to joke and laugh with you. The relationship is central to our work. So how do we get to a place of self-compassion? Well, our thoughts fuel our feelings, and behaviors can perpetuate a cycle that hurts us or those we care about. Changing the behavior changes the cycle. Understanding why the cycle is there– well, that’s where we find self-compassion. And with it, less negative self-talk, doubt, frustration or anger.
