We don’t know what we don’t know, and sometimes, we need a little help with navigating the unknown. We can find ourselves in foreign territory, struggling to manage difficult emotions, and possibly not having the tools to get through it all by ourselves. I am a licensed clinical social worker and have worked in many treatment settings throughout the years, helping teens and adults “move through the tough stuff." I wholeheartedly believe we all go through it and we all need help. My areas of expertise are helping with addictions and mood disorders, but my work has not been limited to these. As a therapist, I feel it is important to take a big picture look at what is going on and work together as partners to identify concerns, brainstorm solutions, and meet treatment goals. I can offer a strengths-based perspective and can provide new tools so we can figure out how to work through it all, together.
