About

We can work together to illuminate unacknowledged emotions, fears, desires, and entrenched patterns so that you can form new ways of living with meaning and vitality. Symptom relief is important and so is an integrated understanding of one's life story and origins. Where there is inhibition, there is the potential for action. Where there is automatic behavior, there is potential for awareness and understanding. Through this process you may begin to speak in ways that change your painful relationships to yourself and others. I meet with people 1-3x weekly depending depth and goals of treatment. As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist I provide a non-judgmental, introspective environment in which one feels safe enough to say whatever comes to mind in the healing presence of a listening other. This can help with conflicts in relationships, sexuality and identity, trauma, social isolation, career, loneliness, substance use, depression, and anxiety.
