About
Do you feel anxious, sad, lonely, or isolated? Do you struggle with pain connected to racism, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or one of the many ways we can be made to feel less than or not enough? Whatever the reason, your decision to seek out therapy is courageous because it is filled with emotional risk. As we build a relationship together, your thoughts, feelings, experiences, fears, and desires will be heard and treated with respect, curiosity, and care. I hope you’ll find a gentle, affirming, and nonjudgmental space where we can better understand what brought you here and how to live a more meaningful life. I offer both psychodynamic psychotherapy, a more unstructured approach which explores how our past experiences inform who we are and our difficulties today, as well as EMDR therapy, which is a structured way to change how we relate to trauma. Both approaches can provide sustainable and long-lasting changes to our self-experience and emotional well-being.
