As a clinician, I have 23+ years of experience working with children/adolescents and adults. I help them cope with acute crisis such as suicide, cancer, death of a loved one, sexual assault, domestic violence and bullying. I specialize in crisis, trauma, and traumatic grief-specific to child-loss & bereavement, which often leads to PTSD symptoms/depression/anxiety often decreasing a persons quality of life. My goal is to create a sense of safety, hope and worth in an individuals worldview. As a former Mobile Crisis Coordinator of an emergency service team and a former Director of Social Work on an inpatient psychiatry unit in a Boston area hospital, I have the diverse background to take on high risk clients. I am also a child-loss specialist (and bereaved mother myself) who devotes significant time working with grieving parents/families-
