Hello, my name is Shameka Morris and I am a qualified and experienced psychotherapist from NYC. I attended Fordham University for my masters degree and specialized in children, adolescents, and families. I also hold post-graduate certification from NYU in trauma- informed clinical practice and child and family therapy. I have had the pleasure of working in my passion as a practicing therapist for over 10 years. Over the years, I have worked with a variety of clients with diverse backgrounds and personal circumstances. The first session will mark the beginning of our therapeutic journey and alliance. Clients can expect to understand more about my experience and therapeutic approach as a professional. However, this will also be an opportunity for me to learn more about the client’s presenting challenges, goals, history, and support systems.
