Hello, my name is Dr. Shanel Bishop and I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan. As you are the expert in your own life, my aim is to ride alongside you in this journey as we work together. I will assist you in overcoming the barriers that may be preventing you from reaching your goals. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailored towards each person that I work with. I look forward to discovering-with you-ways to enhance your life. In the first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and understanding where you are on your journey. Through discussions, activities, and completion of initial paperwork, we will spend time discovering how I can best support you. My goal is to also ensure that you are comfortable, and you have a good grasp of the therapeutic process.
