My ideal client is a person, couple, or family who knows that there are hard questions to be asked and is seeking a neutral, caring, and engaging third party to offer authentic insights and ask the hard questions. The goal is to help the client acknowledge, accept, and lift whatever is blocked and help validate what is seeking validation. This may be someone stuck in a pattern or a couple unable to see their strengths while navigating their weaknesses. A client may want someone to hold the space and trust that the clinician will also know when to move forward. My ideal client is open to a variety of modalities for healing. The use of metaphors, activation of the poly-vagal system, and the development of distress tolerance skills lends for a unique and lasting experiential learning environment for my clients.
