I have over 30 years in the mental and behavioral health field. I have a wide variety of age groups, issues and diagnosis. One of the biggest challenges I faced was working with a client who had severe trauma and was hesitant to trust me, through patience and consistent support I built a relationship that allowed trust and they were able to open up to me. This experience helped deepen my understanding of trauma informed care and empanthy for all.
