It takes courage to seek help and I admire those who do. Although I have worked with people with various issues through the years; trauma, grief, estrangement, anxiety and mood-related issues are primary interests. I enjoy working with teens, adults, and couples. Although I am trained in several approaches, I don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. As a trained CCTP (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional), many of the skills I have gained through training apply to people with various life difficulties and challenges. I have experience working with many types of issues in my practice, but bring a special understanding to grief related to the loss of a loved one who is still breathing, as well as anxiety, trauma, and grief. My approach is individualized but I have found that teaching skills so that you can stabilize and self-regulate is an important first step.
