Hello, my name is Shavonne. I am a Licensed Therapist, and I’m passionate about helping over-functioning adults detangle from the underlying belief that their worth is tied to their usefulness and achievement. Many of my clients struggle with feelings of extreme guilt and shame, people-pleasing tendencies, and suppressing their own needs, so I focus on nurturing who they are as a person, outside of the roles they perform. I work from a humanistic perspective, and I help my clients acknowledge and feel confident in their desires and boundaries to gain a secure sense of self and build more fulfilling relationship dynamics.
