Hello there! I'm glad you're here. At the center of my therapeutic work is the belief that all “symptoms” are adaptations our bodies have used to protect us from pain, to keep us safe. Working with me, you can expect to honor those survival skills while learning more functional, longer-term ways of coping. I believe that you already have everything you need to heal within you, and I am simply providing a space for you to find it. My goal is to help clients cultivate healthy relationships with the most vulnerable parts of themselves by emphasizing self-compassion and exploring how painful past experiences impact them in the present. I seek to create a safe, trauma-informed environment for everyone who enters my office. We might be a good fit if you feel anxious all the time, are burnt out from pleasing others and/or want to learn to set boundaries. Additionally, I specialize in Spiritual Trauma and work with clients who grew up in fundamentalist or high-control religious environments.
