My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that clients are the drivers of their success and my position is that of support and safety. My belief is that therapy is meant to be a space designed collaboratively with my clients that can take on many forms. I operate in a feminist framework in therapy, which looks like positioning clients in their social circumstances and being aware of different social contexts each of us live in. My work is deeply rooted in social justice and I aim to take a stance of empowerment for my clients. In an effort to do so, I often employ REBT (Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy) principles in my work.
