Hello! I am a graduate from Rider University and have my LPC in PA. I have been in community mental health for a decade, working with people of all ages, backgrounds, and needs. In my eyes, the primary goal of therapy is to feel safe and build a trusting relationship with healthy boundaries in a non-judgmental environment. My techniques focus on building hope, being solution-focused and utilizing mindfulness techniques to feel more present. During our first session, I like to spend time building a rapport. I ask open ended questions about your life and then delve into reasons for seeking treatment. I hope to gather background information, needs and preferences, and goals related to therapy during this visit.
