I am an EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing) certified therapist. My specialties include Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Relationship issues, Adult child issues related to growing up in dysfunctional family systems and Trauma. Many of these issues arise from Complex PTSD or developmental trauma experienced from growing up in abusive and/or neglectful home environments. My treatment philosophy is based on the belief that we can all overcome negative coping mechanisms, thought processes and behaviors. I utilize various therapeutic modalities when working with clients. I also offer supportive counseling for seniors who are adjusting to aging related issues. Often times seniors deal with changes related to loss of loved ones, adjusting to retirement and changes in their health.
