About
Hi! I’m Sherry - I’m an abolitionist and decolonial therapist looking beyond Western narratives of mental health and well-being. Together, we can identify needs, goals, and emotions to best inform your individual therapeutic journey. I take a psychodynamic approach that integrates IFS and parts work, ACT, as well as feminist and holistic frameworks. Playfulness and humor are always welcome, if not essential, to the process! I approach therapy from a non-pathologizing and anti-carceral lens. This is a space to feel all your emotions fully without worry for judgment or consequences. As a genderqueer, bisexual, and desi therapist, my lived experience at several intersections informs my approach and ethos. I'm interested in working with TGNC, BIPOC, + neurodivergent populations, as well as adolescents and children at similar intersections who may need additional support navigating stressors, and building the appropriate toolkits to do so.
