I approach each client as a whole person and strive to create a collaborative relationship where there is room for both problem-solving approaches and insight-oriented, transformative personal growth. Often clients seek me out to address issues of identity related to race, sexual orientation, gender identity and class & we work together to explore and integrate aspects of themselves, allowing them to thrive and be successful in relationships and work. Counseling often requires clients to do work outside of the session, and I support clients in continuing their self-exploration through readings, journaling and other self-care work.
