Hey, I'm Siedah. I'm happy you're here! Starting therapy can be a bit challenging. And finding the right therapist can be a bit tricky... but if you're reading this, you're off to a good start-keep going. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Illinois. I have over nine years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. I see clients both virtually and in-person. In our first session together, we'll spend some time building rapport-I want to learn more about you as a person and I'm happy to share more about myself as well. And then we'll begin unpacking some of the challenges that led you to therapy. Then, we'll discuss what your goals for treatment are before we wrap up. I'm most proud of my ability to help individuals normalize and humanize their experiences. Many of my clients (from all age ranges) carry so much shame and self-loathing from adverse experiences.
