Living with a harsh inner critic can feel exhausting—the voice that holds you to unrealistic standards, punishes perceived flaws, and keeps you from feeling at home in your skin. I also know the sting of body shame and the pull of disordered eating, and understand the weight of that harsh voice, because I lived with one much like it.
