Simone is interested in girls’ and women’s mental health across the life span, and specifically in perinatal mental health. Simone is also concerned about the emotional impact of the experience of immigration on her clients’ lives. Simone is attentive to the intersection of culture and her clients’ identities and approaches her clients through a psychodynamic lens and with attachment, trauma, cognitive behavioral and narrative theories. Simone is an empathetic professional who focuses on the importance of the therapeutic relationship for the success of the therapeutic process.
