About
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here. I’m Simran Kathuria, a therapist-in-training and a Master’s student in Mental Health Counseling at the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. People come to therapy for many reasons. You may be moving through grief or loss, navigating anxiety around a life transition, relationship stress, or academic pressure. Sometimes it’s about the past, sometimes it’s about what’s happening right now, and sometimes it’s about the future - what you’re longing for, what you’re afraid of, or what you’re ready to change. Together we can explore what feels most meaningful to you. My approach is rooted in humanistic & person-centered therapy, and together we can explore what feels most meaningful to you. Depending on what you need, our work might include CBT, DBT, psychodynamic therapy, somatic practices, existential or spiritual approaches, or other ways that resonate. What matters most is creating space to slow down & stay curious.
