About

These groups are designed for adults who are struggling with mild to moderate social anxiety and could benefit from the guidance of a therapist with many years of experience in this area. Therapist offers several groups for adults. Social Anxiety Group I involves learning how social anxiety works and how socially anxious thinking, feelings, behaviors, body sensations, and past associations often undermine making change. This group offers several approaches: compassion and mindfulness-based, cognitive-behavioral, and incremental practices (called exposures). Social Anxiety Group II focuses largely on incremental exposures.
