Hello! Welcome to Solid Ground Therapy! My name is Heather Nitz. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and I'm here to listen, understand your goals, and work with you to find the peace and quality of life you are seeking. While I have training in several approaches, I am honing my practice to focus on body-oriented healing using Somatic Experiencing. Both the stresses of daily life and impactful traumatic experiences can prompt a threat response in our body, leaving us with survival energy that was never allowed to run it's course, limiting our resilience and quality of life.
