I’m an integrative somatic liberation therapist dedicated to healing in historic, inflammatory times. As a neuroqueer brain injury survivor and child of Vietnamese refugees, my background of global contexts inform my understanding of complex trauma and its impacts to communities across generations. When harmful experiences persist, they create deep emotional pain. It can feel like death by a thousand cuts from waking up to palpable anxiety, fear, confusion, pain, depression, terror and devastating crises. Therapy needs to go beyond merely coping with trauma; it should help us heal. We can expand into the wholeness of our humanity.
