I am currently working individually with those who are 13+. I have a strong desire to work with clients who are experiencing the transition between High School and college (or transition into adulthood in general), however I welcome all clients 13+ and want them to feel safe in my space. This includes but is not limited to LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC. I also enjoy working with clients who experience anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma, but am open to any kind of client who walks into my office! Since I am an art therapist, I absolutely love when clients come in and are excited about the art making process. Art therapy is that "missing puzzle piece" between our implicit (unconscious, emotional, visual, nonverbal) and explicit (cognitive/, meaning making, verbal) parts of the mind. This means that creating art can help make connections that regular talk therapy may not.
