My ideal client is someone who is struggling from anxiety, depression, and/or the effects of past trauma. I work best with clients who are open to accepting their own responsibility to change, and are ready to recover control of their own life from the things which have held them back from how they want to live. I have a special passion and training to work with those who have undergone spiritual abuse/trauma, which is any harmful use of power and control experienced within a faith tradition. If you're recovering from this, or just want to sort out what you believe and why without judgment, I would love to help! My specialty is in helping people identify what lies about themselves (and sometimes others) need to die in order for a new life to begin. I prefer to do counseling sessions that are interactive and engaging, using a white board, props, movement, and other active techniques to make the concepts "stick." I refuse to let counseling be boring!
