About
I work primarily with children and teenagers. Before going into private practice, I worked in social services for nine years. I've also worked as a school counselor for the past fifteen years. My approach is person centered, and I often use play therapy with younger clients. I am naturally empathetic, and I strive to treat all people with kindness, love and respect. I have extensive experience working with children who have trauma and emotional disturbances. I worked for several years with children in the positive behavioral support program. Through this experience, I gained a wealth of knowledge which allows me to help children with severe social, emotional and behavioral needs.
