Therapeutically, Stan uses the metaphor that life is like a hiking trail. It has ups and downs, easy stretches and difficult inclines, rewarding sights, and gut-wrenching days when it feels like the rain is following us specifically. Using a mixture of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Constructivist Narrative Therapy, Stan works alongside his client, not only to understand patterns of behavior and how to adjust them, but also to dive deeper and uncover the strength and resilience every human is capable of.
