My philosophy has evolved over two decades of hands-on clinical work, extensive psychoanalytic training and analysis. These experiences have taught me that if I listen carefully enough to anyone's story, they and their struggles make sense. I try to help people stop seeing themselves as an extension of their problem and see the problems as an attempt to cope with something unseen and overwhelming that has gone awry. Every person's choices in life, whether in relationships, work, and play make sense, even if they are self-destructive. I work primarily with adults and adolescents, and with couples.
