Life gets hard sometimes and unfortunately the world we live in doesn’t equip us with the tools needed to take on problems when they arise. Problems can get too big for us to handle, at times infiltrating themselves into various aspects of our lives, taking our agency while making us believe there is something inherently wrong with us. Within my work as a therapist I lead with compassion and empathy, knowing that problems live outside of us and not within us—always staying aware and away from pathologizing practices.
