I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Iowa. I graduated from Simpson College in 2004 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and St. Ambrose University in 2006 with a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW). In practice for 19 years, my goal is to make therapy sessions as inviting and comfortable as possible. In this fast-paced world, we all deserve a space to be supported as our authentic selves. I have experience in the following areas: depression, anxiety, grief/loss, women's mental health, work/life balance, mood disorders. I am a LGBTQ+ ally and provide a safe and affirming practice. I use a variety of modalities including: CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, MBSR/MBCT, Solution Focused.
