The teen and pre-teen years are some of the best of a person's life. They can also be some of the most challenging. Teens are in a developmental period where distancing from the wisdom of parents is natural, but also scary. When that distance becomes more of a wedge, that's where I can help. Adolescents don't always have the ability to make good decisions for themselves AND they don't like others making those decisions for them. Therapy can be a place of connection and guidance that both children and their families are looking for.
