You likely find yourself carrying years of pressure, responsibility, and love that didn't always come with emotional safety. You might look "fine" on the outside, but your internal world says otherwise. And that's a lot of handle on your own. I work with first-generation adults and children of immigrants who grew up learning how to adapt fast, succeed at the expense of survival, and keep their feelings small. Many of the people I see struggle with high-achieving burnout, imposter syndrome, guilt, shame, or loyalty conflicts.
