An ideal client is someone who is willing to put in the difficult work of self-exploration with the intention of it leading to personal self-growth. A huge misconception of a therapist is one who gives advice, but in reality, I work to guide my client towards their own self-discovery and therefore being patient and having an open-mind is necessary for all clients.
