I am a clinical social worker and PhD educator. As a therapist I see clients in person at my private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and by Doxy (like Zoom). In addition, I conduct research on gender diversity, and I have done policy work to change the national recommendations for provision of mental health services to transgender and gender non-conforming people, serving as the lead author of the NASW National Policy on Work with Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Clients.
