I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have experience working with individuals who are coping with chronic mental health symptoms, to those who are working on adjustment in their lives. I have worked in several areas including a community mental health center, a college counseling center, and an inpatient residential treatment center. In these settings, I’ve worked with individuals with adjustment issues, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and self image issues. I would consider myself as an eclectic therapist who focuses on treatment for the individual. I do draw some strategies and techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Based Practices, and Motivational Interviewing. I enjoy working with men, women, couples, and college students.
