Are you a pastor or ministry leader who genuinely loves what you do, but find yourself thinking of quitting? A life devoted to ministry and caring for others can be extremely rewarding, but can often lead to burnout, anxiety, depression, or even addiction. Caring for others can also expose you to trauma, either by direct experience or by hearing stories you wish you could forget. As a Christian counselor, my passion is to work with pastors, ministry leaders, and missionaries as they navigate these struggles and work to faithfully live out their calling in a complicated world. While living overseas, I saw firsthand how difficult ministry is, but also how rewarding and worthwhile it can be. If you are a ministry leader who is struggling with anxiety or depression, a missionary adjusting to life back “home”, or a pastor who is just burnt out and doesn't feel like he has anything left to give; we can work through it together.
