There is a quote by J.R.R. Tolkien, "not all those who wander are lost". I think this is a solid descriptor of my life's journey. To the outside observer, I've looked similar to a vagabond as I've "wasted my potential" walking barefoot through Orlando serving the homeless, living in Brazil while working with at-risk children abandoned to the streets, and even more recently as I've dove into therapy with men and women struggling with sexual addiction and the fallout of effects upon their loved ones. I've wrestled with my own struggles and mental health diagnosis of OCD and now have the privilege of serving others. As a marriage and family therapist, I work holistically to address mental health concerns of individuals, couples, and families. As a certified sexual addiction therapist I have been involved in helping couples recover from the devastating impact of affairs and other forms of sexual betrayal; while also considering co-occurring factors.
