About

I became a therapist to help clients alleviate their specific ways of suffering, whether its depression or anxiety, trauma or emotional abuse, or struggles around identity and intimacy. I bring to my practice a history of having written widely in the areas of gender, sexual identity, relationships, and intimacy. I am committed to listening and collaborating with clients to understand and change those ways of relating to yourself and others that may be needlessly constraining and a source of distress and unhappiness. I draw on my own life-experiences to understand your experience of sadness or loneliness or the ways you might feel overwhelmed, at times, by loss or rage. Similarly, I identify with clients who struggle with claiming a marginalized identity. I place a priority on providing a safe, facilitative space to work together towards realizing your personal goals.
