I love to consider life's biggest questions, but everyone deserves a therapist and therapeutic relationship that also offer concrete, day-to-day insights and actionable next steps. Any attempt to know and articulate yourself—each thought, spiral, conflict, question—all belong to the lifelong pursuit of therapy. It’s the process of being human; you've been doing it often and for some time. This makes you the expert, which ironically can be lonely. The idea is not to discover some entirely new truth, but to take hold of the truth that has always been there with you. My approach applies psychodynamics to uncover the past, envisions a loftier idea of 'progress' and the future, and takes hold of each moment or change to best know the present.
