My approach to therapy is, first and foremost, about the relationship between the therapist and client. Acceptance, compassion, and respect are the building blocks of a therapeutic relationship. I believe in developing a trusting, accepting, and empathetic relationship, focusing on the strengths of the client. My master's education was completed at the University of Denver where I gained unparralleled clinical skills that help me provide the best care to meet client needs. My passion for people, paticularly women, who have experienced trauma grew as I worked at internships helping victims of sexual trauma and their families. View 9 Photos I completed my national certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in May of 2017. In 2018, I completed my certification in EMDR. Both of these certifications offer my clients the most effective treatments available to help them work through trauma, deppression, and anxiety related to childhood abuse or recent traumatic events.
