Congratulations, seeking help is a courageous move, and you've taken the first step! Don't dismiss it, it says a lot about you. I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) based in Northwest Indiana, and hold a license in clinical professional counseling (LCPC) in Illinois, as well. I received a Master's degree in Counseling from Purdue University Northwest, and have been providing counseling for over 12 years. Prior to becoming a licensed therapist, I worked, over ten years, as a high school Guidance Counselor, providing both academic and emotional support to the students.
