I am a licensed psychotherapist who believes every person has the capacity to change and improve their life. I work with the individual to identify their strengths and the areas that are creating stress or pain. Incorporating elements of cognitive behavioral therapy with other approaches, I help clients develop strategies to cope more effectively with problems including: anxiety and depression, grief, relationships, stress management, serious medical illness, problems at work, and issues of aging/ dealing with aging parents. It can be enormously beneficial to have a supportive and objective person to help navigate times of personal crisis or life transition.
