In my previous career as a nurse, I learned that helping was not solving someone’s problems for them, but being with them in an authentic way as a fellow human being. The potential of human to human relationships is what drew me to becoming a therapist. A good fit with a therapist provides the safety to begin shaking loose limiting beliefs that keep you stuck and isolated in painful patterns. It can allow you to experience yourself in new, more flexible and expansive ways.
